Hi this is all very new to me. I have just become independent and am starting
the transition process. At this point I am still what you might call a "drag queen", mostly because my social situation does not allow me to live full time
as a woman. I came to this forum to be around other tg women; and also to
possibly meet men. I am (told I am) a very sweet, cute, kind, and loving
person
I am fascinated by so many things, particularly: art (specifically tribal, "primitive", "outsider", expressionism, abstract expressionism, fauvism, and any variant thereof. Science; anything to do with biology, psychology, and the frontiers between. And I absolutely love people, especially people who are"different", and by that I mean people who are total freaks; not, "I have a nose ring and I wear ironic t-shirts" freaks, I mean that I am fascinated by the most bizarre aspects of humanity. I work with the mentally ill, and I feel that I am sort of a "cultural anthropologist", for people who are totally
different.
As you may have also noticed, I love to write, which is why I had better stop here.

`So many nurses! I just spoke with another nurse on here, and I'm a nursing student. Welcome. I'm just a run of the mill cisgender woman, but our interests are spot on. I'm glad you came here. Welcome.

`Good luck to you! Nursing is an amazing profession and I wish you the best of
luck in school. It can be difficult, but I'm sure that you'll do fine!

`So far, so good. Clinicals are descending upon me very quickly. What's your specialty?

`Psychiatric. Most nurses hate it, but I love it. Especially dementia or psychosis patients, they are the most fun. It can often be dangerous, but everyone in a hospital treats behavioral health staff like were bad-asses, (seriously!)

`I bet! I actually like the dementia patients because they're usually really sweet; it's just hard on the family. Give me an Alzheimer's patient over a pediatric patient any day of the week. I can understand and appreciate unusual preferences. :)

You sound great. Good luck with everything. Wish i could undergo full transition... but unlikely now. At least I remain popular here and hopeful of making friends with other transgenders.

I'd love to work as a surgical nurse and get certified for wound care. I like to see patients turn around and thrive and improve quality of life. :)
